My son is an avid mountain biker so when I saw this and told him we could mountain bike on another continent/country he jumped at the opportunity! I knew it would be a part tour and part biking and may not be a ton of downhill biking but he was still excited. The day before we got some news that our guide was sick and Jose was wondering if we could move. Unfortunately we were leaving the next morning so it wasn’t possible. Luckily, our guide Jose was trying to move his schedule to make this happen and he delivered! It was just us and Jose so we felt very exclusive and private. Being bikers it was quick for us to immediately leave town and start our journey. We worked our way through the streets of Marbella and up the hills above the city. Was cool to see Gibraltar and the African coast all in one view. Quickly got onto some dirt and some stepper terrain and the e-bikes did just fine. We entered a new national park and made our way on pavement up to a 1000 person village called Istan. Was so cool to see this village up in the mountains where we had a nice little breakfast and coffee. After breakfast we made our way back down to the beach where we returned on the boardwalk to the shop along some very nice hotels. Jose was great. He gave us lots of info about the area and other Spanish history. He had his camera out the whole time taking pics of us in action and at some great viewpoints and easily air dropped them to me. My son was pretty stoked to bike a new area and cross something off his list. Would highly recommend this to anyone whether a novice/beginner biker or more advanced! Would love to take it further in the future to some of the other villages in the National park and maybe some wine tasting!

Fantastic tour! The route had perfect balance of flats , scenery and a bit of technical challenge with a sweet stop in a little town for a coffee. The guide (Jose) was knowledgeable of riding techniques as well as history of the area and his support made the ride fun! Highly recommend.

What a morning! From start to finish this was a well planned, well executed and totally fun adventure into the hills of Marbella. GREAT bikes, great route and wonderful guide in Jose. Top man. Highly recommend for those comfortable with riding a bike…..

Jose and Flor were brilliant guides, super friendly, lots of interesting facts about the area, able to adapt the day to suit our varied fitnesses and patient with us practicing Spanish! The route up through to Istan had so many views and we loved playing with the e-bike speeds. Lovely lunch break before heading back down along the beach.
