Overview

The Dingle Peninsula has amazing mountain scenery and unusual antiquities to see as you travel around this spectacular peninsula. You will stop at the famed Inch beach, one of the most famous beaches in Ireland, which is a site of outstanding natural beauty.   Then to the most westerly drive in Europe known as the Slea Head drive. Marvel at the Atlantic Coast as you travel on this spectacular road which hugs the western shoreline. Enjoy great views of the Blasket Islands and maybe even see the "Sleeping Giant Island."  You will also stop in Dingle town. This is one of the most picturesque fishing towns in Ireland, and is also famed for Fungi the dolphin who has been a local for almost 30 years. Dingle town is the heart and soul of the Peninsula. Today is attracts visitors, including artists and musicians, from all over the world.

Excellent driver and knowledgeable guide

The driver was originally from Croatia and English was obviously his second language; however, his interesting narrative and genuine concern for all his passengers certainly made a long day rewarding and worthwhile.

Perfectly suitable and fine tours from Cork

We did two tours with Paddywagon during our stay in Cork - Dingle Penisnula and Cliffs of Moher. Both tours were very good for price paid. Tour guides/drivers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Yes, there are stops along the way to pick up other guests but for what we did and saw on both all day tours, we were very pleased and thought it offered excellent value. It’s an easy way to see the countryside and major sights especially from Cork. We did Blarney Castle on our own from Cork via local bus which was perfectly suitable and easy to navigate via bus or Uber. Highly recommend Paddywagon for the longer day trips to and from Cork.
