A Great Day With Captain Tony

Published on Jul, 2024

An absolutely unbelievable day. We are staying in Culebra for a week and we knew a trip to Culebrita had to be part of it. I am so glad we chose Captain Tony. Tony caters the day to what you want to do and then he makes it happen. He goes with the flow and lets you literally do whatever you want, for however long you want to do it before moving on. My wife’s #1 goal was to swim with turtles. We started at Tortuga Beach and instantly the turtles started popping up, we spent as long as we wanted swimming with the turtles, we even saw a stingray. We took a quick trek to the natural pools and then it was off to the next spot. Tony said a couple Nurse Sharks had hung around when normally they are gone by spring. So we went to the next snorkel spot and as soon as he anchored, the nurse shark swam right up to the boat and we jumped in and snorkeled with it. A minute later my kid spotted an Octopus. We then snorkeled around these reefs (which are the best in the area) before Tony offered up one last stop. The final stop was off Culebra, a snorkel site that was much deeper depths. It offered another experience unlike the other two because of how deep the water was that we were glad to have. Captain Tony’s demeanor and vibe were great all day. He always made it feel like it was all about us for the entire time we were together. I could not be happier with the decision we made to go on this trip today with Captain Tony.

Trip was absolutely amazing! The beaches are beautiful! We snorkeled and seen some fish and even an octopus. We brought our 4 month old infant and Tony was extremely helpful. We had the best day ever!

Fun in the sun

After all the aftermath of our week we finished up with an amazing boat trip with Captain Tony to some amazing beautiful beaches. Our favorite one was Luis Peña. What a wonderful day to wind down and relax under the sun.

Culebrita Rocks!

Published on Jan, 2023

We enjoyed our day trip to Culebra although we learned that is better to spend one or two nights on this amazing island. There are so many things to enjoy!!! We are 3 friends who stayed at Fajardo and decided to do this Culebrita tour. We took the early ferry to Culebra (travel time was just one hour) and walked 5 minutes to the pier, where Tony greeted us. He was very professional, easy to understand safety protocol and punctual. We felt very safe. The motorboat looks amazing, very clean, and well taken care of. We left for Culebrita, which is an inhabited island and arrived in about 20 minutes, which allowed us enough time to explore the island. Overall 5+ stars, we wish next time we can stay longer and enjoy the full-day version of Culebrita!!!!

Amazing Island

Published on Dec, 2022

We were staying at the Hyatt for 2 nights and decided to adventure to Culebra (the most eastern PR island, about 20 miles east of the main island). We went to Flamenco Beach on the first day, it was spectacular but we wanted something more private and memorable. We called Tony at Smart Wellness and booked a 3 beaches private boat tour for 4 people. This tour was perfect. The boat was clean and comfortable. Captain Tony was punctual and gave us clear instructions. We felt very safe! We ended up visiting 3 great spots, snorkeling was excellent. He gave us a great video recorded with a drone, very nice Tony!!!! Overall 5 stars on this 4+ hours tour.
