You will create a custom 3-course meal from over 100+ available dishes. We'll explore the local organic market to buy ingredients for cooking class, while at my Thai kitchen you can see how these are used in authentic Thai cuisine! I prefer small classes so that everyone gets personal attention and instruction on their specific needs as well - this includes learning about different cultures too because we're not just talking food here but also history & culture through taste buds.

Fresh, authentic cooking class.

From start to finish an amazing time. Ann was the best. She picked us up from our hotel and we went to the market to pick up some fresh ingredients. Then back to her house to cook. We made 4 things - holy basil with chicken, green curry with shrimp, a delicious soup with fresh tilapia and green mango salad. All fresh and super yummy. Thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class. Would highly recommend.

Such a great evening with Ann - she is excellent company and very knowledgeable. It was really interesting talking to Ann about which vegetables are easy to grow and the flavours. We absolutely loved the trip to the market to buy the produce and Ann picked a few appetisers for us to try. The food cooked was delicious- even if we do say so ourselves!

Have you ever taken a cooking class and thought, “That was nice” or “I am glad we did that”? If so, prepare to raise your expectations because Ann’s cooking class will completely WOW you. We love cooking classes—they are a great way to learn new techniques and tips. However, they often feel impersonal, like just another group passing through. Ann’s class is entirely different. From the moment she picks you up at your hotel, you know this is a special experience. On the way to the market, she asks about your likes, dislikes, preferred dishes, and even how much food you can eat (hint: come hungry—there is a lot!). You then shop together for the freshest ingredients, customizing the experience to your tastes. Ann welcomes you into her beautifully appointed outdoor Thai kitchen at her home, where you will spend the next 2-3 hours preparing and cooking several dishes. These are not pre-set menus; instead, Ann ensures you are making and eating dishes tailored to your preferences. The result is one of the finest dining experiences you will have in Thailand, not just because of the flavors but because it is designed entirely for you. We are experienced with Thai cooking and techniques, yet Ann taught us so many new tips and tricks that we will incorporate into our cooking at home. Her teaching style does not aim to replace what you already know but to enhance it. She adapts to your skill level and personality, making the experience not only educational but also incredibly enjoyable. Thank you, Ann, for an extraordinary cooking class. great activity for every food fanatic

If you like cooking and Thai food, this is for you! In this private cooking class you get to prepare a three-course menu of your choosing. You can even cook several main courses instead of an appetizer or dessert. Ann, the owner, was very friendly, patient, and accommodating. She picked us up at our hotel and drove to the local market. The grocery shopping was an experience in itself! Ann showed us how the market runs, told us about local products, and showed us how to pick good groceries. She even bought us mangosteens, which were not part of the three-course menu! We chose to prepare Egg Rolls, Panang Curry, and Pad Thai. For the curry, we made our own curry paste from scratch. Ann was truly amazing; she adapted all the recipes to our needs and wishes. For example, my partner can't handle spice but he was able to make a curry paste, that was not spicy, while I made one that was spicy. She is also well versed with gluten and lactose free meals. Overall, this cooking class was flawless. The kitchen was very clean, Ann was cautious regarding cross-contamination, and we learned a lot about Thai ingredients and spices. I would highly recommend this private cooking class.

Authentic experience with an expert chef!

This is one of the best Thai cooking classes we have tried. We have been to many where it is light on the cooking and standard Thai dishes taught. Chef Ann takes you to the local markets to see the culture and the raw foods (meats, veggies, fruits) and decide with you what you want to make. We made 3 rare dishes of khao soi, Thai sausages(using pig intestine), and pandan/coconut jelly. It was very hands on and you should have some basic culinary knife cooking experience. Chef Ann does guide you and she is very humourous to make it enjoyable and fun. We highly recommend this for tourists who want more intimate Thai culinary experience! Thank you Chef Ann for the memories!!
