Overview

Our workshop is a creative process for everyone! A unique experience for whoever wants to try out pottery and create a unique piece of art. In this workshop our purpose is to unlock your creativity and at the same time create a usable object. Guided by professional high experienced ceramists. Easy access, a 10-minute walk from Acropolis. Firing and glazing your finish piece. Option of picking up from the studio or shipping your piece back home upon request.

Itinerary

In our workshop we will be exploring Ceramic art with the help of one of the two local pottery artists, Pavlos and Rossina, in the center of Athens. We will go through a creative process, get familiar with the tools and also learn handbuilding pottery techniques. Step by step, we will wander from wedging and pinching the clay to adding your personal touch on your piece. Everybody can participate no matter if they are beginners or experienced. Our purpose is to guide you so that you enjoy this experience and create from scratch a unique piece of art. There is the option of firing, transparent glazing and shipping your finished piece upon request (shipping fee not included).

Perfect for Aspiring Artists

We went as a family with 3 children (10, 8, and 3). The artist did a fantastic job teaching at each individuals’ pace, level of understanding, and level of interest. While there may be more ‘thrilling’ activities out there, this was a home-run for my daughter and a really nice change of pace from other attractions. Highly recommended. Only downside is that you don’t keep the pottery - which makes sense given pottery needs to dry for a week then be put in a kiln for a long period.
