Hummingbirds flying all around you and birds flying free and wild without cages. This is the location on Earth with the highest number of birdwatching registrations. This small farmhouse is surrounded by more than 41 hummingbird species and 359 bird species, more than Europe and North America combined. Itinerary

Let's drive up the west mountains of Cali to a Hummingbird Paradise. Did you know Colombia is the country with the most bird species in all the world? A global birdwatching hotspot, where Cali groups 30% of all bird species you can see in Colombia. The place we're going is (according to the owner) the single place in all planet earth with the most birdwatching registries *ever*, where you can watch around 6 different hummingbird species flying freely all around you. This is one of the most unique places I know around Cali, and a great spot if you wish to get away from the city and do something you may have never done before. It is a remote place but you will have it all sorted out with me. I will bring my professional camera for you to have the opportunity to take your own shots at the birds. I will send them to you digitally after. Please have in mind the weather in this place is chilly and rainy, very different from Cali's. Make sure to bring a sweater or jacket. The general itinerary is 1 hour of transportation to the place, 1.5 - 2 hours of birdwatching, 1 hour back to your place. Private A/C equipped vehicle is included with transportation to and from your lodging.

Amazing hummingbird experience!

My wife and I had an amazing experience with Juan Camilo. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and keen to make sure you make the most of the whole experience. On the way to the Hummingbird location he explains a lot about Colombia, Cali, the surroundings and of course the Hummingbird Paradise. The place itself is mindblowing, there are so many hummingbirds as well as other beautiful birds. There are plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the birds and to ask questions to Juan. We got coffee and some local delicacies and everything was done in a very relaxed way. I can not think of a better way to see the humming birds in Cali than with Cali Cultural Tours!

Cali Humminbird Paradise. Most such experiences are over-rated and over-promised. This one was not! If you like birds and you especially like hummingbirds, this has to be one of the best experiences you will ever have. Take your phone or take a camera. I took a camera but also used my phone to take photos. After 3 hours i didnt want to leave. A special thanks to my guide Mateo! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
