A visit to Panormitis Monastery is a must experience! This convenient transfer, budget friendly provides pick ups from Pedi bay and from the Bus stop at the village of Symi. The current monastery complex was constructed in 1783, replacing the earlier chapel. It is a majestic structure with a blend of architectural styles, including Byzantine and Venetian influences. The monastery is renowned for its towering bell tower, which is the largest Baroque-style bell tower in the world. Also, there are two museums, one ecclesiastical and one secular for both visits. Enjoy a peaceful atmosphere of this holy place walking around and light a candle for good luck!
Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Panormitis Monastery, departing daily from Symi Tour's office in the main town of Symi .Enjoy a leisurely 45-minute bus ride through the island's center, offering plenty of opportunities for captivating photo stop. Upon arrival at the Panormitis Monastery, immerse yourself in its serene ambiance for 1 hour. After, the bus will depart from Panormitis Monastery back to your pick-up point.
