Overview

Spend time outdoors and discover amazing new landscapes driving a buggy around Caleta de Fuste. You won't have to worry about getting lost, our guide will always be there for you! From Caleta de Fuste we head towards the Barranco de la Torre, crossing the beautiful fishing village of Las Salinas del Carmen, where we can observe the conservation of a whale skeleton and the Salt Museum. We continue our journey by land to a local farm, located in Los Alares, where we can enjoy a tasting of the island's popular goat cheese. We continue our journey towards the next spot, the Matorral beach, next to the airport, from where we can take some beautiful photos. Finally, we will cross the coastal town of Costa de Antigua, driving in front of the sea, until we reach our final goal in Caleta de Fuste.

Customers who do not have a pick-up at their hotel must go to our office. You will see a sign with the name of Fuerte Explorer, we are 2 meters (left) from the reception of the Villa Florida apartments. They must go downstairs and present their reservation at the counter.

Itinerary

  • Caleta de Fuste

    We start the excursion from Caleta de Fuste, an explanation is given of the security measures to be taken into account when driving the vehicles and detailed information about the route to be taken.

    We continue to the first stop, a local farm dedicated to the production of Canarian products. We will be able to enjoy a tasting of different types of homemade goat cheese, as well as the animals and nature that surrounds us. It is the ideal place to take a short break and gain strength to continue the tour.

    We head towards the second stop, in the Barranco de la Torre, in the beautiful fishing town of Las Salinas. We will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and the popular Torre ravine.

  • Costa de Antigua (Pass By)

    We will drive through the interior of the town of Costa de Antigua

  • Caleta de Fuste

    Finally we return to Caleta de Fuste along the coast. We will pass through the coastal town of Costa de Antigua and we will take the highway of the maritime avenue to our starting point.

Great little adventure

Great little adventure! Nice little safari around the area with a few stop offs. Guide was fun and professional. Myself and son (aged 13) really enjoyed

Must do activity great experience

What a fantastic experience well worth the money. We were briefed by the tour guide who led the line of buggies who went through all the safety instructions and road etiquette. The first few miles were on the actual roads but this wasn't a problem you just need to be confident and drive as you would back home. The off road experience was fantastic through very dusty gritty tracks which were great fun. Be warned you must wear something over your mouth and nose and wear glasses to protect you from the clouds of dust. First stop was a cheese farm which was home to at least a hundred goats and a small farmyard with a few animals. There is a small shop here too. Toilets here were very clean and very nice to use. Part two of the drive was more dust trails and normal roads though quieter than the first leg. 2nd stop was on a cliff edge with beautiful views.The rep willingly takes photos of you with your own cameras. Next stop back home via the normal road. Overall trip 3.5 hours and believe me you WILL be filthy dirty at the end but with a very satisfying buzz it is a fabulous experience so please do it. Remember though dress accordingly and no open shoes or vest tops or bikinis you ladies more flesh out the filthier you become lol. Enjoy

This business went out of their way to accommodate me. I had forgotten my driving licence but still wanted to do the tour so they arranged that I accompany the guide as a passenger. This was a proper treat as Gil was friendly, professional and a fountain of knowledge! A fun tour with a stop at the cheese farm and even a ride back to the hotel from Nick the marvellous mechanic. Five stars!

This was absolutely brilliant! I thoroughly recommend to give this a go. Make sure you have your driving license so you are able to drive the dune buggies, you can swap drivers half way round. We had the best fun on our holiday!

This was absolutely amazing to the fact I went twice in a week! Scenes are absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!
