We had to be at the tour boat which was moored in the port of Santa Teresa di Gallura at 07.30 for an 08.00 departure. With military precision, the crew of the Seagull loaded the boat with tourists and provisions, and off we went. Our first stop was La Maddalena which was nice and scenic. A short while to shop and have a little breakfast before being whisked off to the island of Santa Maria. We were able to have a swim and rest on a lovely, but packed beach. Then it was all aboard for lunch ( a bowl of pasta), then a further trip to the island of Spargi, and another swim in the crystal clear waters. Then a short loll on the Spiaggia Punta Rossa Corsara Beach Finally a mad gallop back to STG. All in all, very touristy but very nice,

Going to The different beaches enjoying a great boat ride staff on boat was very helpful and informative. The Director on shore was Friendly and gave us clear and concise details on what we needed to do top notch. Tour

Today, I had the pleasure of touring the Archipelago of La Maddalena aboard Maggior Leggero. The boat departed La Maddalena at 10:30 and cruised the waters of the archipelago, taking in all the wonderful scenery. The boat passed by intricate rock formations that have been carved out through time by the elements and various military and historical landmarks. Every aspect of the tour is explained in four different languages so that all aboard are well informed. Not only was the scenery absolutely stunning, but the time spent at various beaches during our tour was really a treat. The knowledge and customer service of the crew members was by far the stand out feature of this trip. Every member of the crew was helpful, courteous and attentive to all aboard. Accomodations: very comfortable, plenty of space for myself and my personal items. Shade and sunlit areas available Service: outstanding! The customer service is top notch. Knowledgeable, courteous, attentive. Food and beverage: the boat offers various food and beverage items for purchase at their bar. Various pasta dishes, salads, fried fish, and even a typical Sardinian dessert are available to order. Various sandwiches and light snack items are also available. The bar serves hot and cold drinks to order and various refrigerated soft drinks, beer, wine and juices. I highly recommend this boat tour. I spent a very enjoyable day exploring this beautiful landscape and the breathtaking beaches that the Archipelago of La Maddalena has to offer. I will definitely repeat this boat tour!

We left Baja and boarded a lovely boat from the jetty. The Boat was already very busy as we visited three different islands during the day, starting with La Maddalena - with circa 12000 inhabitants. Our second island Spargi was uninhabited with lovely white beaches and turquoise water. Boat was a bit too busy with limited available seating but day was excellent.

There are number of trips available with many companies, so you have to choose availability on the preferred day. We chose three outer islands and Maddalena town and I believe was the best for number of reasons: (1) you don't need much time to walk in Maddalena town, an hour is enough to walk through narrow streets and enjoy a drink somewhere; (2) when it comes to beaches, they are the best on three smaller islands; (3) choosing the above package it was a good balance between sailing and seeing a lot and beach time. Food on boat only for those who are hungry, but white wine is inexpensive and great Vermentino as everywhere in Sardinia. IMPORTANT! leave time for parking before the boat departure as parking can be stressful as well as takes a bit of time to navigate to your boat.
