Overview

Imagine a body of water among the most beautiful in Italy, the charm of the tradition of the Egadi, stories of tons and tonnaroti, discover places of history and battles between the Romans and Carthaginians, stops bathing at will, snorkeling, the visit of magic caves, the traditional cuisine of Trapani and much more. Satisfied? The boat sails to Favignana, where stops at the most famous bays of the Island as Cala Rossa, Bue Marino and Cala Azzurra. A special stop at the Lovers ‘Cave (Grotta degli Innamorati). The tour provides a stop at Favignana’s port to permit a quick visit of the city centre. The navigation continues to Levanzo stopping at Faraglione, Cala Fredda and Cala Minnola. During the stops you can swim and use the snorkeling equipment that you find on board. The excursion starts at 10.00 from the port of Trapani and ends at about 6.00 pm. The tour is for maximum 12 people

At the cove of cala azzurra the stop will allow you to dive into the beautiful waters from which it takes its name. Practice snorkelling

At the Bue Marino, we will stop for a new swim, where the turquoise sea is contrasted with dark blue clues, all surrounded by the old tuff quarries.

Arrived at the port di Favignana and moored, you can visit the village walking through the streets of the maritime village.

Unbelievable experience.

From the minute we went on board to when the day ended, we had an amazing time. Jonny and his family were so welcoming and treated us like family for the day. We were brought to a little cove, an island and did a tour of islands we'd never seen before. The food served was absolutely delicious, I would recommend this experience to everyone. For anyone thinking of booking a private tour, please do, it was an amazing experience and we would do it again in a heartbeat. An amazing way to visit the island!

Cloudy day, but lots of fun!

When we booked, we knew we were going out on the last day of the season, and the weather might not be great. While the weather did not fully cooperate, the tour was so interesting, and the cocktails were spot on. Well worth the price for the length of the tour. We plan to try again when the water spots maybe have a bit more warmth and appeal. None of that stopped everyone else on the boat from taking plunges into the amazing clear blue waters around the islands - just us! The check-in spot is a bit hard to locate, so just be aware that when the road makes a hard curve, you go through the gate by the ticket counter and the team will be waiting straight ahead. All the boats we saw, including ours, were very well maintained. I would not say that a bathroom was available (there may have been a head underneath a cover below the front, but it was not a true space with privacy).

This was an absolute highlight of our stay in Palermo. Mauro was our Captain and he kept the boat safe and happy. He explained our way through the stops and sites and was open to give additional information, as we had. We booked directly through Egadi and the information and morning onboarding was simple enough. We parked nearby with the easy park or similar app and it wasn’t an issue either. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, a towel and a waterproof camera bag would be recommended. We took a little drone out and that was quite fun as well. We will come again and bring our older kids.. not sure if I’d bring my toddlers, purely for selfish reasons and actually enjoying myself. The rest of the people on the boat and fun and friendly as well.
