We went as first-time outdoor climbers, with a little indoor gym experience. The instructors were very good, and provided relevant instructions and advice at a professional level. Routes were around 5a-6a, and I think the instructors could tell if you were up to the difficulty or not. My instructor apparently tried to push more climbs out of us so we were almost dead tired at the end of the day.
The caving tour was surprisingly not as easy as expected as there were some steep elements you are hauling your equipment at the same time.
If you are intending to bring your own climbing equipment, do tell the instructors so you don’t end up bringing multiple sets of equipment along for the hike.
All in all, the experience was very enjoyable and it is a good way to experience outdoor climbing as a first-timer, and the Railay climbing atmosphere was great. It is wonderful to be able to see the breathtaking sea view when you top the routes!
