    In Piazza Duomo you will find one of the local's favorite places for an aperitif in front the cathedral in town. We will reserve for you a table with a view towards the Duomo’s façade (not possible on rainy days) for a delicious wine and food tasting. You will enjoy local products such as Orvieto’s white wine, cold cuts, cheese and bruschetta!

    Enjoy a tour of Orvietos’ undergrounds (group tour ). During this your you will be taken under the town exploring some of the 440 caves which have been used for centuries for various purposes such as refrigerators for wine barrels, stables, water wells, and cisterns as well for getting a very local one-course meal…pigeons!

Great for small group, couples!

The 4 of us really enjoyed the hour or so at the Cantina and the aperitif and white and red wine tasting! The tour was very interesting, but a fair amount of stairs.

Interesting history, excellent food!

Touring the caves was a interesting bit of history. But the highlight was definitely the food. The restaurant was a lovely family owned restaurant, and it had a comfortable atmosphere. Orvieto is a lovely town, don't miss this one, worth the time.

Great Etruscan Caverns, Vino Lunch

Went back in history too 500BC Etruscan caverns underground. Amazing. I am 82 in good health and shape. If have knee problems reconsider. Wine tasting after at Cantina Foresi, excellent service by Alexandro. Presented the wines. Served Antipasto, lasagna Salad and dessert cookies. We went down below to ancient wine cellar. Highly recommend.

We stumbled on this tour that began about an hour after we were just going to pass through the town. Our tour didn't have wine tasting, but it was a really interesting and informative tour. I learned a lot. But at the same time, it turned into a romantic evening of mysterious underground followed by an exceptional dinner at Trattoria Tipica La Pergola.

A very well organised trip of this part of a beautiful and historic Italian city. The guide spoke great English and answered all questions.
The wine tasting and inclusive lunch were 100. In fact so good we had lunch on a second occasion as well.
