Olivia …. At the ticket desk at the water park . She is undoubtedly one of the best members of staff in the hotel . Nothing was too much trouble for her .. we were a family of 8 with teenage girls , a 3 , 5 and 9 year old . She arranged everything for us , showing me the best deals , giving me 20 p’s for the lockers and giving the children , stickers, badges .. etc etc . She made a stressful situation , as it was absolutely packed , enjoyable . We’ve been travelling from Tenby West wales once a year for 11 years, firstly staying in the Alton Towers hotel , now splashlandings as the older girls can go to the water park on their own . It is much more expensive this year and the opening times of the water park are less , closing at 5:00 pm which is much too early for a water park! Soft drinks are very expensive, so take plenty of snacks and soft drinks with you . The food at the hotel is very good . Breakfast is included and is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day trip and would like to thank Olivia again and tell Mick who is usually by the doors at the Alton Towers hotel that we missed him ! First time in 12 years .
