Overview

During the afternoon part of your safari, you will discover the true desert of Abu Dhabi. After an exciting drive over the sand dunes, we will visit a camel farm and watch the sunset from the dunes. Our journey will continue until we reach our camp, and there you will have the opportunity to try a host of activities like henna painting, belly dancing, Shisha, and coffee significant to Bedouin culture. After sunset, a BBQ dinner will be served under the starlit sky, with live entertainment to ensure you have a night to remember. You will also be treated to traditional Arabic hospitality, with Arabic coffee and dates served as they have been for centuries and continue to be served in Emirati homes today.

Perfect for those looking to explore the beauty of the Arabian desert. Your journey begins with pickup and drop-off in a Land Cruiser, ensuring a comfortable and safe ride through the stunning dunes. Our professional desert marshal will take you on a thrilling dune bashing experience, navigating the rolling sands with expert skill. We'll make stops along the way so you can capture breathtaking photos of the desert's serene beauty, with the dunes stretching endlessly under the sun. Afterward, we’ll visit a camel farm, where you can learn about these iconic desert animals before heading to our traditional Bedouin-inspired camp. At the camp, enjoy a variety of activities, including camel riding, sandboarding, and relaxing with refreshing water and soft drinks. For those seeking a touch of artistry, try henna tattooing—a beautiful tradition that leaves intricate designs on your hands. And for a relaxing experience, enjoy shisha smoking under the starry desert sky. As the sun sets, indulge in a mouthwatering BBQ dinner. The evening entertainment includes a belly dancing performance, an enchanting Tanura show, and the opportunity to watch the stars light up the desert sky.

I had an amazing experience with Liwa adventure tours and safari! The staff was professional and friendly, ensuring everything ran smoothly from pickup to drop-off. The dune bashing was thrilling yet safe, and the camel ride and sandboarding added an authentic touch to the adventure. The evening at the campsite was unforgettable, with stunning performances like the Tanoura dance, belly dancing, and fire show. The BBQ dinner was delicious, with plenty of options to enjoy. Overall, it was a well-organized and magical experience. Highly recommend Liwa adventure for an unforgettable desert adventure!

One word: unforgettable. Our guide, Basith, was extraordinary and went above and beyond to take care of my group. From adrenaline raising events like sand duning and sand boarding to a traditional nightly experience filled with fantastic food and entertainment - this trip had it all. If you want an all in one, action packed day and an awe inspiring night, this is for you. 10/10, I definitely will continue to recommend this for anyone that comes to Abu Dhabi. Also, Basith is a great photographer and will capture your groups best moments in the best light, literally.
