Overview

This is the longest boat trip we do. We will leave Torquay Marina and head out into the bay. Dependant on the weather we will either turn left or right but with way we will hug the coast. Along our route we will explore coves, caves and rock islands as we admire the geology of the UNESCO Geopark and look out for wildlife. We hope to see seals, dolphins + porpoise as well as an array of sea birds including our Guillemot colony (March - August). We will take in the whole bay and weather dependant extend further down the coast enhancing our changes of spotting more wildlife. Wildlife is not guaranteed but we will do our very best to find them !! We will also have some fun at speed and a few donuts !! This is truly a great way to get out on the water. Our experienced guides have lots of local information and are so passionate about our local area and wildlife. So book with us today and create some special memories.

  • South West Coast Path Walk- Meadfoot & London Bridge

    Stunning stretch of coastline with a natural limestone arch.

    5 minutes

  • Berry Head National Nature Reserve

    If the weather conditions allow we will stop here to look for dolphins and porpoise.

  • Thatcher Rock

    A stunning rock island which is popular with seabirds and seals.

    5 minutes

  • Babbacombe

    A stunning bay to enjoy by boat. We will swing by before heading further down the coast in search of seals and then off shore looking for dolphins.

Dolphin spotting in the sun

Honestly the highlight of my week. I originally booked the 30 min trip but due to numbers I was offered this free upgrade of the 90min trip and I’m glad I took it. Greg our skipper was fun, ensured we were all safe and was full of local knowledge. We saw many landmarks, wildlife and all round it we just an enjoyable time. I’d love to do this again, maybe even the sunset one.

The best 90 minutes in Torquay

Initially we were booked on the 30 minute rib safari tour, but due to lack of participants we were offered a free upgrade to the later 90 minute tour and we wish it had never ended! The lovely Michelle could not have been nicer or more apologetic about the delay. The fantastic Greg was an excellent skipper and tour guide, with a lot of knowledge and love for his job. We got incredibly lucky to see multiple pods of dolphins and since we arrived back to shore we can’t wipe these silly grins off our faces. Thank you so much for everything, we’ll definitely be back for the sunset cruise and sing your praises to everyone we know!

Had an absolutely wonderful boat trip with Greg as our skipper. The trip was very informative as to what we were looking at and also we were lucky enough to see two grey seals and lots of dolphins while out at sea in the RIB. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone who is able to do it!!

Wonderful trip with Greg. It was certainly exhilarating but also just fantastic to see porpoise leaping around us and gannets diving nearby. Greg was so knowledgeable about the area and nature, as well as friendly and funny!
