Overview

Crab Island is a summer tradition for locals and visitors alike as the ultimate way to celebrate on the water but you can only get there by boat. It's easy to have too much fun in the sun which makes SunVenture the best way to get there and back safely. Our Coast Guard Licensed Captains will navigate the busy Destin waters while you relax and have fun at one of our areas biggest attractions. Our crew will stay with you the entire time you're enjoying the cool water and fun atmosphere making sure you have everything you need including a restroom and shade. Meeting points

After arriving at 314 Harbor Blvd., make your way down the Heron Harbor boardwalk and locate the SV Cruises kiosk. A crew member will be there to check you in and direct you to your boat. Please plan to arrive 45 minutes prior to the cruise start time allowing ample time for parking and check-in.

Itinerary

Our Coast Guard licensed captains will take you out to Crab Island from the Destin Harbor. They will drop anchor at the epicenter of all the fun and stay with you the entire time, giving you full access to a restroom, shade, your cooler and our crew. We'll drop the ladder so you can easily jump into the waist-deep waters. SunVenture has assorted water toys available for guests. Paddleboards are available for rent on a first come, first serve basis. You'll find a little bit of everything at Crab Island from various floating food vendors to people kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding or just relaxing on a float. Additional Information - All guests must check in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. - Personal, small coolers and bags are allowed but must be stored under your seat. Alcohol may be brought onboard, but no glass please! - Floats must be deflated when brought onboard. - Smoking is not allowed onboard. *Crab Island is BYOB. You CANNOT purchase alcohol from SunVenture or any other third party vendor there.*

Booking a Crab Island Cruise was one of the best activity plans my family made during our beach trip!! The day did NOT disappoint! Captain Morgan and Andy were phenomenal and really went above and beyond for an amazing cruise experience! Definitely recommend Sun Adventure Cruises and ask for Captain Morgan. Don't forget to BYOB since alcohol is not served at this destination

We will definitely book another trip. Captain and crew were so accommodating. They have floats, but if you bring your own, they can blow them up. If you need a drink, they’ll hand it to you. If you need a photo taken, they got you! We did the 4 hour cruise, which we highly recommend. It was easy to book online and communication of where and when to meet where was very detailed.
