Our recent four-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor was a fantastic experience, enriched by the historical insights we gained while visiting Egypt’s ancient temples. Our guide, Mohamed Gobran, was exceptional—his deep knowledge, meticulous planning, and seamless coordination made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Some excursions started very early in the morning, making the schedule a bit hectic, and temples were sometimes crowded as multiple cruises followed similar itineraries. However, Mohamed took care of everything, including purchasing tickets in advance, which saved us time and hassle. The cruise itself was comfortable, with good lunch and dinner options, though breakfast—especially the packed meals for early starts—was somewhat disappointing. Our room felt quite cramped for three people, as it seemed to be a double room converted into a triple, making space tight. Additionally, the mandatory $15 per person tipping policy for cruise staff, along with separate tipping for the guide, felt excessive and should ideally be discretionary based on service quality. Despite these minor drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed the journey, and much of the credit goes to our outstanding guide, Mohamed Gobran, who ensured we had a memorable and well-organized trip.
