Overview

This half-day tour allows you to discover Florence’s treasures with a closer eye while visiting the city’s best museums. Take a 1,5/2-hour guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery and a 1-hour guided tour of the Accademia Gallery, with additional free time. Your admission tickets will allow you to take advantage of faster entry than other visitors. As you stroll through the galleries, your guide will inform you about the major works you see, letting you in on secrets and amusing anecdotes about the history of Florence. Excellent way to see the highlights of the Academia and Uffizi Museums in a relatively compact time period, with a guide (Mirella) who makes the experience so much more educational by lending their expertise to the event.

Great tour experience in a crowded museum

Did a half day tour of Uffizi museum, and Academy to view David. The small tour group leader Leo was nice, personable, and informative and very educated around the art we viewed. It’s obvious he had deep knowledge of art, and the artists, plus the historical facts on each period. he went above and beyond to answer my frequent questions. His experience in managing the tour successfully around all of the many crowded rooms, allowed us to maximize the time spent viewing the art.
