Overview

Unveil all the secrets hidden inside the ancient Medici's palace. During this 90 minutes experience every corner, every masterpiece and every legend is coming to life. This is the palace where the Renaissance started in Florence. Palazzo Vecchio was the ancient home of Medici Family, as well as the ancient - and actual- palace for the Government. Visit the palace in 90 minutes with a guide means discover the secrets, the legends and the masterpieces hidden inside the palace. From Eleonora’s apartment to “Salone dei Cinquecento” this tour leads through the entire palace. An experience that is not easy to forget: also Dan Brown fell in love with Palazzo Vecchio and wrote about it in his book “Inferno”.

Meeting points

Piazza della Signoria (behind the Neptune fountain). You will meet your guide at the back of the fountain statue. You will find a small public fountain. Please look for HIDDEN EXPERIENCES board. Please arrive 15 minutes before starting time. Latecomers will BE NOT accepted.

Great experience with very knowledgeable Ivan

Our guide Ivan was very knowledgeable and passionate about Florence. He took his time showing us the museum and also offered to take pictures. He was very funny too and really engaging. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a deeper insight of the palazzo vecchio.

It was a wonderful experience!Ivan,”the Terrible “( as he called himself),was our tour guide.He was simply wonderful,spectacular! He gave us so much history of the Palazzo Vechio,without losing the details behind the reality of Florence(including the gossips) from his perspective as a historian.My daughter and I loved it!Thank you Ivan for transporting us to past centuries.For being so humor,jovial and for teaching us so much!
