1. Tenmonkan
The morning tour will start here after pickup, and the afternoon tour will end here. We highlight not just Kagoshima shopping but specialty old-world items that foreign visitors rave about that are uniquely Japanese, including many that are specifically from Kagoshima. We will go to a 4th generation maker of Japanese Washi origami paper and make origami and be able to shop for some very nice as well as handmade origami papers. We will also go to a Kagoshima landmark shop with fine Japanese kimono, silks, calligraphy items, fine Japanese pens, glassware, and more. This tour is a fun way to spend the day learning about some amazing local shopping, but we will receive skills, shopping assistance, cheat sheets, and recommendations that will enhance your ability to go out on your own around the country and find other unique Japanese items and unexpected treasures, as well as multiple locations that are hidden and unique Japanese experiences.

Of course, we will eat amazing Kagoshima food! We will be eating some of the highest-ranked wagyu in Japan and enjoying this paradise we love. The meal is a well-rounded course, including salad, veggies, soup, marbleized wagyu, tea, and dessert. We will be assisting throughout the meal and exploring the central station section of Kagoshima city. For the morning tour, this will be the last stop, and for the afternoon tour, this will be the first stop.
