Overview

See the highlights of Florence that most interest you on a customized private tour with your local tour guide. Duration of Half day tour is 3 and half hours. Duration of Full day tour is 6 hours.  Rub the nose of the boar fountain of the Porcellino to ensure you will return to Florence, Marvel at Brunelleschi's huge dome at the Duomo, Take time out at an al fresco café on Piazza Signoria, Cross the River Arno by the Ponte Vecchio. Exterior explanation of all sites with flexible tour itineraries will give you chance to see most of the splendid city with live commentary of a licensed tour guide. Please note that entrance fees are not included in the tour to maintain the flexibility of program. If you would like to go inside of Galleria Uffizi or Galleria del Academia, you need to book your entrance tickets in advance. Please remember that most of the museums in Florence is closed on Mondays.

  • Please note that the Accademia and Uffizi Galleries are closed on Mondays. For tours on a Monday, the Accademia will be replaced with the Bargello Museum or Villa Medici, while the Uffizi Gallery will be replaced with the Palazzo Vecchio Museum.
  • Skip-the-line entrance to the Accademia is not guaranteed on the 1st Sunday of every month, as the entrance is free for everyone.
  • Please be advised that skipping line is not applicable for Duomo Complex.
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved, comfortable shoes are recommended.

Isabela and Nikola, our guides in Florence were phenomenal. They were adaptable what we wanted to see and answered our many questions along the way. They are not part-timers, they are true professionals who have been focused on this work for many years and the locals acknowledge who they are. If I’d be able to give 10 stars, I would have…all coming from someone who doesn’t leave reviews.

From the get-go, I was very impressed with the quick communication with Guided Istanbul Tour. Melissa was very prompt with her confirmation email to assure me that someone will meet us at our hotel at the appointed time. It is our first time in Istanbul so little details like that do matter. And what a great start to get to know the city with this 1-day private tour. Our lovely guide Duygu was very knowledgeable about the history of Turkey as we walked around the key highlights of old town like the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Our favourite was the Basilica Cistern, even though it's the smallest site, there's something quite spiritual about the place. Duygu"s warm personality also made the trip felt like a day out with an old trusted friend. She even took us to her favourite place for Iskendar Kebab, it was a yummy lunch! Ask for Duygu as your guide, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Melissa and Duygu, all the best for your business!

Caner seems to have a good knowledge and explained us the story of Istanbul! He was very pleasant the time with him. He was engaging and very professional and answered all our, many, questions! I recommend Caner to anyone who wants to get a real glimpse of the city !
